A holiday is never quite complete without making time for some shopping.

Explore the large shopping centers and malls in Queensland that will keep you absorbed all day. Check out some of Australia’s top designers as well as other renowned international labels.

You must also be sure not to miss Queensland's colorful markets, some located along the beach, some set amid the rolling hills of the country and others located right in the heart of the city. These markets are great for picking up quirky souvenirs, gifts, and local arts and crafts.

As in other countries, some Australian businesses pay commission to tour operators and tour guides to bring tour groups to their stores. While this does not necessarily mean prices will be higher than at other stores, you should have an opportunity to visit and buy from other outlets, so check your itinerary for free shopping time and ask for free time if none has been allocated.

Nightlife

Queensland is a vibrant state with plenty of party places, bars and pubs. You can choose to kick back and relax at a casual and laidback pub, have fun at a funky cocktail bar or dance the night away at a wild nightclub.

There are also casinos, theatres, live performances, dinner shows and other interesting activities to keep you entertained after dark.
